Cops in the Handicapped Parking Spaces

Sunday's Boston Globe has photos of Boston police vehicles parked in HP spots, both at the police station parking lot itself and out in the city.

Is it that cops feel entitled and are bigger violators then other people or is it that cops have the same view of HP spots as everyone else, and they are now just getting singled out?

WBUR does curb cuts Saturday 1 PM

On Saturday at 1 PM, listen to WBUR , 90.9 FM, (on the Web at http://www.wbur.org/listen/ ) for a segment on how Pres. Obama's stimulus bill will affect people in Massachusetts. The hour-long show is called Radio Boston, and I speak close to the beginning of the hour.

I talked to reporter David Boeri about the $30 million request by the City of Boston to replace thousands of curb cuts. I showed him how there isn't a curb cut at the Robert Gould Shaw Memorial across from the statehouse.
